I grew up in Shawnee, Kansas and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. I graduated from Avila College with both a B.S. and MBA. I attended K-State for one year and have a daughter and son there now. My husband is an EdwardJones Investment Representative off 87th Street in Overland Park. My son attended Blue Valley Northwest High School and played high school soccer. In 2006, his team won the 6A State Championship.
